Coco And Her Puppies

On Friday Coco, my dog, had her puppies under the deck. We had to pull one of the deck's palings out because she was suffocating one. In the end she had 6 but one died so now she has 5. She has a black one with white socks, she has a black and white one, she has a light brown one, she has a brown one and last of all she has light brown one with a line of black on its back. 
When they are all bigger we are going to sell them.

The Mitre 10 Challenge

On Saturday Gemma, Jaida, Ronan and I went to Mitre 10. We did a challenge against Waverley and Kaitoke. There were 5 things you had to do. 1st I did the hammering and 2nd Jaida did the apple bobbing but she could not get any out so  Seth did it. 3rd Jaida had to throw 5 mini beanbags into a hoop, 4th Gemma had to do the egg race and then hop into a wheel barrel. Lastly, 5th  Ronan had to push Gemma in the wheel barrow. All that time Mr. Walker was in a very cold pool. As a team we had to push a car to the finish line. The winning team was Kaitoke!!! It was  a lot of fun!

My Holidays

During  the hoildays I went to New Plymouth for Cheyanns hockey. In between the games we went to the  shopping Centre and the playground. After we went back to the holiday park. We were right next to the sea. At night when I was sleeping I could here the waves crashing into the rocks. Then we went back to the hockey place then watched the hockey. After that we went to where Cheyann was staying and had lunch with her. When we  went back to Wanganui and we  went to my Aunty's house. This photo on the Right is just by the park I went to.

Mountain Trip

Yesterday Room 2 went to the Mountain. There was 3 groups Beginners, Explorer, Independent. I was in Explorer and at 12:00 we had a lesson. I learnt how to jump, ski back, jump back, and properly ski sideways. It was my first time going on the chair lifts and it was so scary up high because I thought it was going to break. The first time I went on the chair lift, when I was getting off, I fell and so they had to stop the chair lift. After we had our lesson Rebekah, Mum and I went down the mountain so fast that I nearly fell off.       

Hockey

On Wednesday Fordell Blue hockey team played St Johns. Fordell played really well but sadly we lost 4-2. The two goals were all a team goal because we all got down the turf really fast and every one passed as a team. I played left half and I stayed on the left, I did not go on the right. I also had to help Gemma and Jaida with the goal. At the end of the game our coach Prue told us that they were the top team and that they only bet us by two. I think that we all worked as a team and every one stayed in their positions. WELL DONE FORDELL BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you know?

Did you know that the smallest animal on earth is a Kitti's hog-nosed bat also know as a bumble bee. This animal can only be found in Thailand. When fully grown it is measures 3cm long with a
wingspan of 12cm. It weighs the same as a coin.

Netball

On Saturday we played netball. I play in the Kai Iwi  netball team. We played St Mary's and won. They are a very hard team. I played GD because I am the tallest player and I am good at it. At the end all of us got player of the day because we all played really well. That was our first game playing in H grade because we moved up a grade and we WON.

Brent's Birthday

Brent is my cousin he is turning 17. On Thursday my family are going to go up to Palmerston North and we are going out for dinner for his birthday. We are also coming back to go back to school on Friday. I am so excited because I have not seen him since he was 15. But he can sometimes be annoying but he lets you go on his things. We got him some money and a card. It was very cool but cold. Lucky there was a big fire.

Be Funky

Today Ms Whitwell showed room 2 and 1 how to do Be Funky. Frist we all had to get a photo taken and then Ms Whitwell had to save it into our folder. After it was saved into our folder we had to pull it up and then had it try and make effects on our photo. Mine turned out like this. I hope you like it.

 

Tawa Has The Shield

Today Tawa won the shield. All of the houses such as Miro and Kowhai and Tawa had to come up with a song. Miro came up with 'Hey Baby' and Kowhai came up with 'We Will We Will Rock You', Tawa came up with the best song 'The Time Warp' and won- again!! I am in Tawa the winning house.

My Birthday

On Saturday it was my Birthday. I turned 10 double digits!. I got an IPad, COOL. I also got a lot of lollies and I had 20 friends over. My best present was a bendy lamp from Bridgitte. I had a lot more but I can not tell you because there was a lot. My Nana came down and my cousin came as well, they came down from Ratihi. I got a puzzle from my Mum and Dad, it was of New Zealand, I did it on my Birthday and it was all finished. It had words on it so that was so hard to do. At the end we watched a movie and had pizza. It was a very cool Birthday. 

Museum Trip

Today Room 2 went to the Museum. We looked at birds and flight. It was very cool we leant about a lot of things like how much feathers were under the tail and about their bones.  Mrs. Beautrais showed us birds that can fly and that can't fly. After we did a little bit of bird work, we went up stairs and looked at butterflies, beatles and sea creatures. We handed in our Family Treasures that we had been working on for quite a while. I am sure that Room 2 had a lot of fun and I know I had a lot of fun. I might even get my Mum to take me there again.

The Funeral By Tineisha

On Wednesday it was my Gran's Funeral and Cheyann and  I read a speech at her funeral it was so sad. My Mum did not get to say bye or even see her. When Dad told us we just burst into tears. It was HEART breaking.
